Hello

I am a developmental cognitive neuroscientist, currently a post-doctoral fellow at the University of Minnesota's Masonic Institute for the Developing Brain and graduate from the University of Tübingen's Graduate Training Centre of Neuroscience,  International Max Planck Research School. My research focuses on early learning and its neural underpinnings. In my present work, I use functional magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to study brain activity within personalized functional brain networks within the first weeks of life and how this activity relates to early learning capacity in the first 1000 days. At the same time I work on improving our ability to do precise, individual specific brain imaging in the first weeks and months of life by investigating novel acquisition sequences and highfield MRI, specifically for this age group. With my research I'd like to uncover individual developmental trajectories of brain functional organization, and translate this knowledge to different types of early interventions to optimally support learning.
